1. Information We Collect
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name via our authentication provider (Clerk). When you use NumVault, we record which virtual numbers you request, the messages received on those numbers, and basic usage activity (timestamps, platform requested).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to operate your account, provide virtual numbers and SMS inboxes, communicate with you about your account, and improve the service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
3. SMS Content
Messages received on virtual numbers are stored so you can view your verification codes. Virtual numbers are temporary and shared resources — do not use them to receive sensitive personal communications. Messages may be automatically deleted after a number expires.
4. Third-Party Providers
We work with SMS/number providers (such as 5sim, SMSPool, HeroSMS, and Telnyx) to source virtual numbers. These providers may process phone numbers and message content as part of delivering the service.
5. Data Retention
We retain account and usage data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us.
